Getting Started

Contact us by phone (+1 876 317-3104), WhatsApp, or email (info@dajezishipandfarm.com). We'll collect your name, Jamaica delivery address, and contact details, then set up your customer profile and issue your personal US shipping address — all at no cost.

No. Registration is completely free and there are no monthly or annual fees. You only pay when you ship — the per-pound shipping rate plus the flat JMD 450 processing fee per shipment.

Yes. Family members or business partners can use the same account US address. Just notify us of the sender's name so we can match packages to your account when they arrive. Each person in your household can also have their own separate account if preferred.

Shipping & Process

Once your package is received at our US facility and payment is confirmed, door-to-door delivery in Jamaica typically takes 3–7 business days. This includes the flight to Jamaica, customs clearance, and local delivery. Standard tier customers receive faster processing and dispatching.

Delays can occasionally occur due to customs inspection, flight changes, or weather. We proactively communicate any delays and provide updated estimated delivery dates. If your package is significantly delayed for reasons within our control, we will discuss compensation options with you.

Yes — we strongly recommend notifying us when you place an order. Send us the retailer name, approximate weight, and expected arrival date so we can watch for your package and process it promptly. Unnotified packages may take longer to process.

Yes. We hold packages for up to 14 days at no charge to allow you to consolidate multiple orders into one shipment. This saves you on the processing fee. Let us know in advance if you'd like packages held for consolidation.

Rates & Payment

Shipping is priced by actual weight, rounded up to the nearest whole pound. Your per-pound rate depends on your chosen tier (Basic or Standard). A flat JMD 450 processing fee is added once per shipment. Use the calculator on our rates page to estimate your cost.

Volumetric (dimensional) weight applies when a package is large but light — it takes up more space than its actual weight suggests. It is calculated as (Length × Width × Height in inches) ÷ 139. If volumetric weight exceeds actual weight, the higher figure is used for billing. We will always notify you before applying volumetric weight.

We accept bank transfer (NCB, Scotiabank, JMMB, and other Jamaican banks), mobile money (Lynk and Bill Express), and cash. Payment is due once you receive and confirm your shipment cost breakdown, before the package is dispatched to Jamaica.

Our standard rate table covers 1–10 lbs. For heavier packages, we provide custom quotes. Generally, rates decrease on a per-pound basis for heavier shipments. Contact us before shipping a package over 10 lbs so we can provide accurate pricing.

Customs & Duties

Most personal-use goods with a declared value under USD 500 enter Jamaica duty-free under the travellers' exemption equivalent for air cargo. Commercial goods, high-value items, and certain categories (alcohol, tobacco, electronics above threshold) may attract customs duty and GCT. We handle your customs declaration and notify you of any assessed charges before delivery.

You are responsible for customs duties assessed on your goods. We advance the payment to customs on your behalf and recover it from you before or at delivery. We do not add any markup to customs fees — you pay exactly what Jamaica Customs assesses.

Items must be declared at their true purchase value. We do not undervalue packages — this is illegal and can result in seizure of goods and penalties. Accurate declaration protects both you and us and ensures your insurance coverage remains valid.

Items & Restrictions

We accept most personal and commercial items: electronics, clothing, footwear, household goods, health and beauty products, baby items, sporting goods, books, and business merchandise. If you're unsure whether an item is acceptable, contact us before ordering.

We cannot ship: hazardous materials, flammable or explosive items, compressed gases, firearms and ammunition, illegal substances, live animals, perishable food, lithium batteries as standalone items (batteries installed in devices are generally acceptable), and counterfeit goods. Attempting to ship prohibited items is grounds for account termination and may result in legal liability.

Non-flammable liquids in sealed, well-packaged containers (cosmetics, skincare, household cleaners) are generally acceptable. Alcohol and perfumes with high alcohol content are restricted — contact us for guidance on specific products. We require adequate packaging to prevent leakage.

Insurance & Damage

Yes. All shipments include standard insurance coverage against loss and damage from the time your package checks into our US facility through to delivery in Jamaica. Coverage is based on the declared value of the goods. Additional declared-value coverage is available on request for high-value items.

Inspect your package at delivery before signing. If you notice damage, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately (same day). Photograph the outer packaging and the damaged contents. We will initiate a claim on your behalf. Damage reported more than 24 hours after delivery may not be eligible for full coverage.
